Welcome everybody, thanks for coming to my show. This is Prairiewind Park and this is The Storehouse. Thank you. Thank you very much.
The Storehouse was recorded at Prairiewind Park in Viroqua, WI on October 5, 2025. This album is loosely about my relationship with Alesha Weiland, whom I used to love.
Cause although you should have never left You had to leave cause that’s what seemed right
And now You’re all that I’ve got You’re all that I want You’re all that I got You’re all that I want You’re all that I need You’re already here You’re inside of me, you’re inside of me So don’t run away, you’re already here It’s time to come back home
It’s time to come back home It’s time to come back home Yeah
I love you anyway, and there’s nothing that you can say, baby
Let me grab my glasses. I’ve been thinking about this song where the lyrics are something about how, “every star reminds me of you”.
“Every star reminds me of you.”
I just don’t know how the melody goes. And I don’t know pretty much any of the other lyrics. So I thought we could just jam here a little bit and try to figure it out.
When I look up in the sky, every star reminds me of you.
But it don’t sound good when I am alone.
And you…
Don’t want me to be with you.
But I look up in the sky.
And all I see is stars.
Cause every star reminds me of you.
When I look up.
When I look down.
When I look around.
And I look at the ground.
All I see is you.
When I look up in the sky.
All I see is your eyes.
When I look at the sea.
And the fish look back at me.
That’s all I ever want to be.
All I ever see is your memory.
I don’t want every song I write to be about how I couldn’t get over you at night But yet,
Here I am on a Friday night.
And no song sounds right.
No notes come into my head.
They’re all out of order.
They’re all out of place.
I can’t get your mind.
Out of my face.
When I try to forget you, I just think of you more.
And when I try to move on, experience is poor.
But I try every day to forget your name. name. But every time I look at the stars, I think of you. Every time I think of the stars, I think of you.
What if we sang a good song? What if we sang a good song? What if we sing a good song? What if we sing a good song?
Would you come? Would you come? Would you come?
What if we sang a good song? What if we sang a good song? Would you come? Would you come? Would you come?
I want you to imagine you’re standing on a stage. It’s late at night.
You’re full of fright.
You look out in the crowd. What do you see? You see her face, looking back at me.
The one face you thought you’d never see again staring right back at you.
That’s scary.
What do you do?
I say you don’t do anything at all.
I say you don’t do anything at all!
Just keep playing bro. Just keep playing bro. Just keep playing bro. Just keep playing bro. Just keep playing bro. Just keep playing bro.
It’s okay bro. It’s okay bro. She’s not there bro. Just look away bro.
I’ve been walking through this desert Searching for a sign Carrying the weight of These failures of mine
But I can feel the wind is changing I can feel it in my bones A voice inside is calling Calling me back home
The mirror showed a stranger But her eyes were just like mine I saw the cracks around the edges I see their design
Let’s gather up the ashes And build something new With every step, I’m closer I’m closer to you
This is the turning, the rising, the fight Breaking the darkness, stepping into the light No more running, no more hiding away I’ll be the man you deserved every day
I thought the fire had burned out But it never really died It was waiting, quietly smoldering For us to reignite
I’m coming back, I’m coming through To find the love I lost in you The man I’ll be, the one you’ll see Will carry us to eternity
It’s time for us to come back home It’s time for us to come back home We will never be alone It’s time for us to come back home
